depends....doesn't it always. you want gps with it? I use the basic eagle cuda 242...black and white no GPS...made it 4 seasons so far (in salt and fresh). Not a bad deal for around $85. Which ever you use invest in di electric grease. You will add years to the connections.

I have an eagle cuda 300 (I think its the replacement for the 242) and same as EWB says..  its b&w and keeps it simple and 80 bucks at west marine. No problems with it as yet.   +1 on the dialectric grease as well.
