NCKA iPhone app???

Hello,

I am a straddling lurker. That is I have fished amongst y'all on occassion...
However, I regularly visit the site and join in whenever time allows.

I recently got an iPhone, and I am wondering if there will ever be an NCKA iPhone app?
If not, can any other iPhone users point me in the direction of "reliable" iPhone apps that are worthy of your fishing prowess.  Meaning, does the app do "most" of what you want it to do, or list your wish list for an iPhone app's functionality. (That is, I would like an iPhone app from the CADFG that would tell me that I am in an MLPA or other "non-fishing" place by using my iPhone GPS coordinates, fis pic w/legalities of that particular fish, etc.)

I also noticed that the CADFG doesn't have an app, but Arkansas does, what's up with that Cali? I mean we have the freeken Silicon Valley right here!!! Sorry about the rant, anyway, thanks for reading.

I don't have an iphone, but my crappy Samsung can access ncka and login to read & post. No app required, just internet access.

i have a couple free/demo ones on my android based phone, They all pretty much just log your catches (with Pics). One cool feature is the GPS addition so you can mark the location of the catch

Yes, I can go on safari and access the site, however, the whole gps and mlpa regional restrictions would be a sweet thing to have on the phone.

I looked up some GPS/Marine map s/w last night for the iPhone and believe you can do just that.  It was like 10$.  I'm also thinking the same could be done with Google Earth too for free.  Do a search for iPhone GPS Marine or something like that and you will find it.

Then there are two that I use every day, Surfline and Swell Info.  One was free, the other like 4$.  Both have features I like, so I look at both.

an app that has the following would be awesome:

wx/swell info
GPS boundries for MLPA's
Tide
CA size and bag limits

Keep the ideas rolling....

the mlpa boundary coordinates = must have
