Personally I would rather have my hand crushed than get one of those wimpy shakes.

Haha yeah after he won the yak @ GS4 we did a major-league high 5 and my palm was stinging for like 10 minutes! It was like I just dropped a 5-yard slant pass from Bret Farve in subzero weather...without gloves!
I'm already working on a new fishing-shake. At the very least, we'll have to resort to something low impact like pimp sprinkles...

After meeting Jim at the HOW event, I had to play slide guitar for a week, fingers were in traction.

I noted that Big Jim uses one of those special ergonomic, bent angle paddles. Now I know it was just a regular paddle he had been holding firmly.    Dude! How many days do you get out of a paddle before you have to replace it?  You might want to look into a Titanium shaft.
With all these stories of Jim's damaging forms of physical affection, I'm starting to think it's Jim's plot to disable the competition so we can't reel in the big ones at Albion.

i saw jim on Saturday, i dialed in the hand shake....

when we first greeted one another, he gave me a fish bump, but it felt odd, im not really a fist bumb dude, seems very southern california to me, not that thats bad!

Anyway,When we parted for the day, we naturally went for the shake, what you got to do is forcefully put your hand into the shake and QUICKLY, if you can sink the shake all the way in before he grips, your just fine!! if your slow, your done, cause hes quick and your fingers will get crushed...So at Albion, commit to the shake, go in fast....
