I am a definite maybe! Blues / Jazz festival in town that weekend. Usually have some sort of plans with my neighbors, but I may work it all in.

Hey guys

Just wanted to post to remind everybody that AODY is on for this coming Saturday Sept 11.  We will be using the same rules as the AOTY.  Total points wins.  If you want to practice catch and release a pic is acceptable for entry, just use something with the date, if you have the date option on your cameras or a new paper date.  I trust you guys.  You can launch and fish where ever you want, but you have to show up at the farmhouse in Bodega Bay to "Weight" in at 3pm.  The farmhouse address is 6000 North Highway One,  Its about 4 mi north of Bodega Bay on HWY 1 in between Portuguese and Gleason Beaches.  I'll put out a sign, we will be visible from the road.  Please bring something for potluck BBQ to share.  I have two tables, which should be enough.  Be sure to bring a camp chair to sit on.  I have some paper plates and plastic utensils, but if you have some kicking around it might be good idea to pack it.  I'll have my turkey fryer but I don't have a big BBQ, I have a little one.  If you plan to Q' you should bring one.  There is some room for folks to car camp or if you have a sleeping bag you can crash in the studio, it's pretty good size.  I will be coming out from Davis on Friday and hope to be there by early afternoon.  Send me a PM or text message 707-480-0188 if you plan to crash.  I have yet to come up with a trophy or prizes so if you can hook me up that would be really appreciated.  Sorry I'm not more organized, I have been super busy with work lately.  I have only fished the ocean once this year.  So sad.   .  Also there is no entry fee for this event, if you want to do a money between friends that's cool, but I don't want to hold the money, cause I would probably skip town with it.  This is going to be just a laid back fishing day and some good food.  I will be serving my deep fried cheesecake. Probably put some twist on it.  Hope to see you all Saturday.

Should be able to still make it, so long as I can camp out in my truck overnight. 

So, let's see if I have this straight....we don't need to check in in the morning? I will be coming back from waaaay north ....driving overnight to get back to Sonoma County.
