Different way to make rod, etc. leashes

Browsing another site I found this and it sounded to me like it would work pretty well and be relatively cheap. Read through the comments on how to make it work even better than it supposedly does.

Very cool....not sure about those carabiners though.  Salt will do them in fast.

  Instead of carabiners , I've  started using 1" squeeze buckles. At least initially , I like  em.

I've used those on my shortie spearguns for quick reloads.
