Here is a post that my buddy wrote about this weekend's trip to Albion I will add a little in at the end, but here it is
Ok Lets start by saying Thanks to everyone who made this trip what it was. It was awesome to meet some of the members and also to make new friends. There where alot of dives made by many of the people who joined us this weekend so I will let them fill in their details.

Saturday we suited and headed to a Mendo location where we had planned to dive. Once there we where treated to some awesome conditiond. After a long hike down the mountain and a quik drop from a rope we made our way to where we had planned to dive. Once in the water we knew it was going to be a great day with 25' dives and 20'+ vis and fairley calm water it was just a little bumpy on the surface with low surge. After diving about 30 mins I look over to see Matt holding a Monster and sure enough It was a 10" wow. After about 20 more mins Chad had found one aswell. Now that I have seen 2 pulled it is time to get busy and low and behold after about 3 more dives it comes. MY FIRST GIANT and believe me I could not hold my composure as I yelled and screamed at my triumph. Ok enough about me there was another 1st time 10 pulled so Congrats to Chad L or CLathe here on the site. No worries we arent done yet Chad and Matt both pulled a second Trophy and congrats is in order for you guys aswell. I was able to pull a second 10" while in the water but after the Micrometer it came up one tenth short. What a haul 6 10's in under 3 hours way to go fellas. ccasion14:

Sat afternoon we headed out for a second dive and a little spearfishing in the boats. We headed to a little spot in Albion just outside the harbor. Here we had 15' vis with 25-35' dives. Matt scored 5 nice scallops and the other guys managed some Chinas,Blues, and greenlings. It was nice to make some deeper dives. We saw a few small lings but nothing to write home about.

Sunday Morning we all awoke sore and tired from the previous day. Finaly awake we jumped in the trucks and headed back for some trophys. Once we where down to the water I knew the way I was feeling I was not getting in( I know wat a sissy) Oh well Matt and Brandon jumped in and faught their way out and yes after just 20 mins where rewarded for their efforts with 2 more 10ers one for Matt and one for Brandon. Congrats again fellas.

All in all it was another great weekend with new and old friends and as always tons of great food. Thanks again to everyone who made it out and shared in the fun. Matt will have pics up later im sure. One more congrats to all who pulled Giants. I cant wait to do it again.

my add in
Friday dives were great, Chad Mike C and his son Damian and I went out and did a dive. conditions were the same but no tens but I managed to get a couple of 9 7/8 for the day. Then once back to camp Rob and Mike R had showed up so we all headed out to burn a tank, Mike R and Rob in his boat and me,chad W and Mike C in my boat, We hit heritage house for a quick hunt. I enjoyed the dive even though I did not get any thing to spectacular one scallop and a couple of blues rock fish. Chad got a nice kelp greenling, mike R got a couple just legal lings and a monster red, and Mike c took a cab and Then there is Rob with his 40 inch 25 pound ling. Then on Saturday's after noon dive I managed to nail 5 scallops free diving the most I have ever go ten in a dive.

here is a pic of some of the ten that were taken
