Rancho Seco 12/10/05

Beautiful day on the lake today. We were on the water around 8:30am. Lots of tubers and a few boats on the lake.
We fished the shore line, all of it. Tried everything we had in the box, didn't catch a fish. Saw some big bass in the shallow areas.

A few fish rolling in the lake, mostly near the boat ramp. Saw a couple trout caught there. They were using a casting bubble with a power worm. Throw it right into the rolling fish and they would chase the worm. That went dead around noon.

Oh well...we had a nice paddle and did some bird watching.
