Vjo-Dave and I went clamming & fishing in Tomales yesterday.  What a nice day it was!  Very few peolple out there on the clam beds and we got out limits on our 4th holes.  We then went to Nick's Cove to give Hali a try.  We jigged for live baits and got some big Jack Smelts.  I was drifting the channel and guess what I caught for the day?  See pictures for the mystery fish  :smt003

Did you catch any crabs? I hooked into one of those mystery fish once. Thanks for the report.  How was the wind?

Dave dropped a crab pot near Hog Island but got only 1 too beautiful female Rock Crab to keep so he let her go  :smt003  The wind was strong but managable.

Looks like your bait should be worth more points than your fish..... :smt003

Lucky dogs, fishing on a Thurs.

Sonny, you should start a VN clamming guide service and stand-up comedy shop.  You crack me the hell up!   :smt044

Sonny and Dave WTG! Ever since we first went clamming Sonny you have found a new way to have fun and harvest some good food too. I also love Tomales Bay. Its 20 minutes from my house and its almost time to start fishing there seriously. I always really enjoy all the pics Sonny. Thanks, Craig
