Ok guys on Saturday I lost my third spear tip. Im not shooting into rocks just fish heads. At thirtty bucks A pop I cant stand to loose my speartips. Do you guys recommend maybe putting some threadlocker or epoxy to afix the tip permanetly? They just seem to unthread themselfs after around six shots. And when I forget to tighten they fall off. Very frustrating!

another thing you can do if you have enough room on the spear shaft is to buy a flopper and rivet kit and turn that shaft into a flopper shaft instead of using screw on type heads. i did this to a jbl and it worked great.

On your 5th shot.....re-tighten it.  Problem solved  :smt001

With all that cash you already spent you could have just bought a flopper shaft with no threaded heads to fall off.  You need to simplify your gear brother.

I'm no pro.  What speargun is it?

How much does the shaft overhang past the muzzle?  You should be able to cut the threads off and grind the tip to a tri cut.  Then add a flopper for like 5 bucks.

I use two part epoxy.  Hold a match under the shaft and it will come off.  DcBatt
