Our good health is the best thing we can give our families. Let's not forget about getting your PSA checked on a regular basis too. Especially if it runs prostate cancer or any cancers run in your genes.
Better to find out too soon than too late. Stay healthy.

Back on July 23rd I discovered a lump on my upper left thigh accompanied with an dull ache after standing and working all day, the pain exactly like that of a hernia I had repaired on that same side back in 2012.  Thought maybe a femoral hernia this time from google search.  Saw my doc on the 28th.  She said it was not and sent me in for a CT scan.  The scan showed 3 lumps in that area, the largest measures 4.2 x 3.9 x 10 cm (162 cc or 10 cubic inches?).  So my doc sent me to a surgeon for a biopsy.  According to the pathology report, I have non-Hodgkin B-cell lymphoma with a differential that includes marginal zone lymphoma and follicular lymphoma.  I was sent to an oncologist last Thursday.  He ordered blood tests, a PET CT scan and a bone marrow biopsy to determine staging and aggressiveness.  Waiting now for a call to schedule those.  I meet again with my oncologist in 3 weeks to discuss treatment.
I am not looking forward to these tests and really not looking forward to treatment.

Did it! Colonoscopy :smt009 Failed the poop test. :smt012 No sedation... got it done without so I could drive home after (and get dinner on the way home). :cook Gentlemen let me advise you... Smoke some fine weed, :smoke ask for full pass out drugs! :smt015 Not pleasant butt, :pottytrain1: not that big a deal really. :smt002 Upper colons a BITCH though. Pushes on Diaphragm so you can't breath to well butt, only lasts for 20-30 seconds as it passes under. 3 polyps removed and biopsy came back benign... Get checked!!!!! I'm 56 and this was my first ride.  :smt044 :smt044 :smt044
