I realize the rockfish season is in session but I figured I'd go against the grain and go for some fresh water action....COMPANY WELCOME!!!

Mike / Mickfish will try to get a couple of campsites but it might be a first come first serve basis so if any locals can secure some sites for us starting Friday thru Saturday night then that would be awesome and very much appreciated!

*potluck for Saturday night so bring what you can bring to share!

*Barring any unexpected Doctors appointments on those dates - which I doubt = I'll be there!!!!

Sound off!!!!

stripers, catfish, bluegills, crappie, large mouth bass, small mouth bass.....I'd like to hit up the rockfish along the coast but I don't think my body can handle it at the moment.....got to play it safe for now.

Joel the 2 campgrounds at the north end are closed for 2010 the one by the dam is full. Our only option is the Boat in but I bet it's full also, I'll call in the am.

How easy it would be to camp on the sly at Sonoma? Very. So many coves we can go, just let me know bro, so many folks would be glad to drop us off and pick us up, we should do that from yorty creek area, lots of hidden coves I know well. Easy access to some well hidden spots. For da Mooch, screw the rules.

Randy, I doubt that there will be any open campsites in Tahoe....given the short notice of the hook up...

Last I checked...  the boat in sites were full... of water... I think day use is all we'll be able to get at Mendo right now. Anybody know of any camping places close by??? I wouldn't mind camping and just driving over to Mendo. Not quite the same but it's all good.

I was up there two weeks ago and most but not all of the boat-in sites were under water. I did see one group of people camping over there on the farthest part of land to the east with a pb pulled up on the shore & a tent set up.

The water level at Mendo is still very high keeping most sites closed.... Have you contacted the Corps to see about using Angel's camp like at BAM? Just a thought.....
