Add waiver just like mentioned above,
I will be there to paddle and join in the BBQ and raffle.
I will sign the waiver in the am and have a donation item for the raffle.

Just a few questions:
 Anything needed?
How many will be fishing while paddling?
How many will be participating in the shots on the water?
Anybody camping either Fri. or Sat. night - if so where?
Will $200.00 cover the paddle and raffle?
Anybody need to borrow a yak or can I leave the trailer at home?

See Ya There,
Eric / Yakhopper

I plan on bringing a rod, since this will be the first time I've been able to hit the salt since last year and refuse to get out there without wetting a line.  I don't even care if I catch anything!  :smt003

Shots? Did someone say shots? I'm in!   :beer1  Can't drink on the beach, but on the water is another story!

Also, knowing you guys I could probably just show up and get help, but I thought I'd ask first...if anyone can help me wrangle my Outback off the top of our CR-V I'd appreciate it.  I'm 3 months out of my rotator cuff surgery and healing really well, but I don't want to push it.  Which is also why I'll be peddling the yum-yum yellow Hobie rather than paddling my T160...on the bright side I act as shark bait for my NCKA pals!  :smt003

My brother in-law is a manager down at Redwood Trading Post in Redwood City so I had him put a flyer in their store. I wont be able to make it down but I think this a truly a great gesture. Have fun, be safe and raise a bunch of funds for Mooch.

Eric -

If you really want to catch a fish I would do the live sardine thing. Since this is more about paddling for Joel and less about fishing I will be traveling light: 1 rod, 1 handline, 2 trolling plugs, 4 swimbaits, 1 fifth of quervo 1800, 40 disposable shot glasses, lime and salt. Here is my top secret game plan...

#1 Troll a surface, suspending or pencil popper in the surfline north to the pier for halis and stripers
#2 Fish the kelp north of the pier for 15 minutes with swim baits (handline)
#3 Paddle out to the mile buoy and toast Joel with quervo shots till the bottle is empty (15 minutes?)
#4 Fish the mile buoy with swimbaits for 30 minutes
#5 Troll a Rapala CD14 from the mile buoy to the southern waypoint for thresher or "basking" sharks  :smt005
#6 Troll back to the harbor with surface plugs

Sound good? Maybe one fifth is too light?  :smt005
