New to me but bought it used..very used.
I replaced all the rusted hardware with stainless steel.
Removed the anti-skid black paint sprayed on the INSIDE of the kayak. Removed the tupperware/styrofoam/two sided velcro homemade battery holder that was glued to the inside hull.
Removed the glued down fish finder transducer (TD) from the inside of the hull and added a foam TD mount so the TD isn't permanently affixed to the kayak (notice the huge horse shoe shaped bubble in the Goop of the fixed TD).
Fixed the steering handle so when you move it right the kayak actually turns right instead of left. (It was backwards).
Added a nylon washer under the handle to prevent the handle from further digging into the plastic.
Used zip ties to keep the rear cables off to the side of the rear hatch instead of tucking them into the upside down pad eye the mfg provided. Loop the zip ties through the hole in the eye pad. This gives the cables more freedom of movement and they won't bind.
Repaired a front to back wobble when the mirage drive was locked down by gluing a small piece of rubber where the front of the drive rests on the kayak.
Moved the Ram Mount Balls from out of reach on the front of the kayak to right behind the seat for easy reach.
Added two Scotty flush mount rod holders.
Repaired the broken Ram wedge mount by straightening the bent screw and using some JB Weld on the neck of the ball and removed it from the sailing mast receiver.
Replaced the stock rudder with the big sailing rudder.
Replaced the stock fins with turbo fins.
Removed all bungie cords (except for the two securing the fromt hatch)
Replaced the stock bungie cleats with pad loops
Replaced the gear bucket.
Added nine stainless steel pad eyes.
Weighted the pedals so they are in the ready to go position rather than being upside down.
Removed a chunk of plastic from the drain hole that was still attached when they drilled the hole not allowing the inside to drain to capacity.
Lubricated every moving part ( every cable, hinge, pully, chain, sprocket).
Cleaned all the fine grit out of every moving part, especially the adjustment pins on the mirage drive.
Scrubbed and pressure washed the inside and outside of the kayak...A LOT.
Kayak looks clean and everything moves super smooth. Can't wait to take it on it's maiden voyage.

Wow Mike, solid clean-up!  You must have got a good deal on that.

Where will you put a FF, if at all?  And what do you have planned with the SS pad eyes?

Didn't get a GREAT deal but it was still a lot cheaper than buying new.
In the 7th pic down you can see the flush mounts. My FF will go there.
I now have 2 FF's that will fit there. One using a scotty mount and the other using the Ram wedge mount.
The SS pad eyes I use to secure things in the tank well. I find that using tank straps with brass or SS clips is a lot stronger than the bungie cords.
I also put a SS pad eye on the inside of the kayak to clip my dry bag that holds the 10AA batteries for the FF and extra cable. On the outside of the hull directly behind that is another pad eye to clip the mirage drive leash.

Why did you get an Adventure when you have that nice Revo?.
So I'm packing my bags for the Misty Mountains, where the spirits go...........

So someone else can pedal and sip margaritas at the same time as me.
Plus have you ever tried to find a used Revo??? They aren't around long enough to actually have a shot at it by the time I get home from work.

Nice job Tote, seeing that picture of the TD makes me wonder if I have an air bubble in my new Lowrance X50.
It's not working good enough to get arches. Is the foam the only support for TD now, and will the air gap
between the hull and TD cause problems.       Thanks,Tim
Remember to practice safe knots, because big fish don't just break your line, they also break your heart.

There is no air between the hull and TD because I pour a little water into the hole in the middle of the foam.
The bottom half TD is submerged and squeezes in nicely so it won't come out. That way no air bubbles. Nothing but H20 between the TD and hull.
With this set up I can use the same FF and TD in any of my kayaks I want to use.

Thanks for that info.,the dealer suggested that I use Petroleum jelly instead of goop, but the fact of 100+ degrees up here said otherwise, will try the H2O
