Well met up with a couple of dive buddies on Friday at ocean cove for some camping and diving. Well we woke up at 430 and jumped in the truck to head up to mendo from oc, our goal was to try and get in before the winds picked up. We  arrived to to the dive site which I will not name, about 6am and we all got suited and could tell we had decent conditions. so we headed down the rope to the beach. Once i the water we had about 4to 8ft of vis depending on where you were at. we started are swim to where we wanted to start looking which was about a 300 yard swim but it was worth it. We arrive at the desired spot and start diving depth were about 15 to 20ft on my 3rd dive  I find what I am looking for which was the first ab I saw at that so I gauge him and pull him yahoo a 10.1/4 yahoo. as I turn to hollar over to one of my partners I see him swimming up with a an ab and I asked is it one and he replies yes so what a way to start a dive we both pulled tens in the first couple of dives that sure gives you the energy to dive. We continued to dive seeing all the usual suspects in fish and critters but I left the Gun at home cause I was focusing on giant snails that's is probably why I saw so many fish. The big one of the day was a cab that had to go well over 20 inches. Oh well right I got a ten that is all I cared. we dove for about another 2hrs finding and measuring several huge 9 almost but no more tens. Our other buddy pulled a limit of 9 3/4 to 9 15/16 hogs, so we were starting to get a little hungry so we got out and headed back to gulalla to Bones road house for some lunch man they have great food and nice eye candy serving you. LOL any who another great weekend on the coast here is a pic.
