Looks like I got the last campground at Lake Chabot that weekend.  Count Tui Chub (Pete Rissler) in.  I'll be driving down on Saturday, anybody want to give a newbie to halibut fishing a hand on Saturday?  I should be in around noon.

Hopefully it will stay under 100f this year.

This co-insides with the NCC rockfish opener so unless the ocean is wiped out I wont be able to come. If the ocean is not doable then I would love to be there. Craig

Same here, if the ocean is blown out up at Ocean Cove then I'd love to join all for some halibut fishing.

/e hurries off to look at what kind of fishing rig I need for Halibut!  What # test line is a good starting?  I think I have 20# on my ocean rig right now, good enough?
