Headed out to a place we will call the Rasberry patch (Don't ask I cant tell!!) today for some trophy diving. Conditions where ugly in this location but that's just how it goes. Jason my self and Julian and Stacy suited up and headed down. Once in the water we had about 1'-5' vis in pockets it was worse or better. Now for the harvest me and Julian both pulled 10" abs biggest being 10 3/16" congrats and big props to Julian with his first 10 and 2 in the same day Glad I could share the experiance. As for jason and Stacy they just werent there but its still a great day when you can get in the water. It was great to meet some new friends and create some new stories for the campfire. After the dive we had lunch at Bones in Gualala and then went up to Erick Andersons for a visit. All in all another great day with great friends on the north coast. Im sure I missed something so hopefully the fellas can fill us in..here is a pic from abalone ten divers they guy on the right was not with us just another successful diver. I allso have to say this was julian's 17th trip up from Redondo beach to get these ab's so he defintley earned.

Nice abs.  The next couple of days should be some good vis all along the coast.  I'll try to get out and thin that population of 10" Abs to make room for the younger ones.  DcBatt
