Aptos- get fishing

Some good fish where caught yesterday. Stripers are on the bite in the surf. Halibut are starting to make an appearance as well.

Thanks for the info. I fished NB on thur afternoon , caught bait and what looked like a baby Halibut? should have got a pic,wasn't a sanddab. I might do another afternoon attempt next week.

I wish we had stripers this far north. Always wanted to catch a barracuda too. Guess i'll have to take a trip south someday.

Gonna hit it this weekend. Going to capitola, fish the kelp on the right then go for some butts along NB Beach.

After quite some time with a dry boat, I think I'll get some time on the water in the next week or so.  Gonna try NBSB for halibut at a couple of spots I've had luck a few years back.

I went surf fishing at NB this evening and there were tons of birds working the water. I some some bait boil within 50 yards of shore but never hooked into anything. Gotta get the yak out...
