how do you copy a dvd into a computer?

My favorite program to rip and burn dvds is DVD Shrink. Its a small and free easy program to use. Some DVDs are encrypted so you wont be able to rip them. You can download it here.

most DVD's are encrypted now, but it is still legal and possible to make an copy on your PC

The only DVDs I have a problem ripping is Disney movies. If you are looking for anything particular I have access to any DVD practically ever made I can send to you on a DVD-R.

DVD shrink handles most encrypted DVDs, there are just the occasional few that it doesn't.

DVD Decrypter is free and will rip most encrypted DVD's.  I will rip them with Decrypter and shrink them with DVD Shrink for burning on 4.7G disks.
