I had nine minnows leftover from the Berry trip, some crawlers from Clear Lake and a quarter gallon of gas. So I made a low budget Vallejo fishing trip. My usual cast of characters had obligations, so solo was the call. Nice day Monday and the former "one fish lake" gave it up. three on crawlers and two took minnows. All are cleaned and fix'n to be smoked. Got some good underwater pictures of small fry and large bass. Sonny gave me the technology I'll try to make it work. dave...

Here I go traveling all over the place when I can fish our backyard. :smt005
Call me crazy I guess. Some day I'd like to try and fish that lake too.  Last
time was in the 80's. BTW, those are some cool pictures you took. Thanks
for sharing.

Sorry I couldn't join you partner :smt009  Love the "action" and underwater shots.  Did you see or hear anyone catch a Kitty there yet?  :smt003  Thanks for the great report and pictures Dave.

Terrific report Dave!!!

I'm guessing those bass were sitting on beds?  There is something about seeing fish in the wild undisturbed that is so cool.

And to get 2 trout to take minnows is not easy.  Nice work.

No! It's to see if there is any sharks behind him. :smt044 :smt044 :smt044

Just Kiddin Dave, for I might get one too.  It helps to see what's happening behind you and if anyone is catching fish.

Looks like you had a great time on the water.  Great Pictures!

Dave's favorite lake trolling style is using live baits under the bobbers.  He puts his mirrage drive in reverse and moves backward so he can see the bobbers in front of him.  He uses the mirror to see where he's going.
