WTG Kirk. A point in time never forgotten especially with the crew you were with, scaliwags and sea-dogs all of them. Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh :smt006 :smt044

That was a nice fish Kirk! If you want some more pics just shoot me an email and I can send them your way. I loved the way you landed it with the slap gaff swinging like you were chopping wood! That fish never stood a chance.

Maybe you need to promise fish to your wife more often!

Monkeyface,

Thanks for your colorful reports. Just read your landlord report and must say it was the most hair raising and hilarious account on Whitey that I have read in my life. You have and exceptional gift in storytelling and we appreciate that gift. Keep it coming.

I have to take responsibility for showing that poor form technique to Kirk. While fishin on Mikes (from OPS) skiff I missed gaffing one of Kirks Lings 3 times. I let out a few choice colorful words, turned the gaff, swung it like a pick and took care of business. I realize this is considered poor form, but it seems to work and Ive used it more times than I care to admit. If your gonna do it, do it Full Flex! Swing like yer breakin concrete with a sledge hammer and pull back hard.
Lets do it again soon. This time ill film.......

Congrat on you fine combo seafood catches.  The deep fried dish is looking yummy!  Thanks for another great blog Kirk.

Ha ha that's awesome! It does'nt matter what it looks like if it puts fish in the boat. I agree with you it would make some great film. The way Kirk was swinging I think he knocked it out on the first shot and gaffed it on the second. :smt003
