Well there's some around.... I managed to land one just shy of 30"es and had two good pull downs only to come up with clawed baits. Had one other undetected clawing too. (makes you wonder how they get away with that with a hook in both ends) Not bad for popsicles... First time out there this year. When I was trying to make bait a guy on the pier had a nice one and they couldn't get it in their crab net to haul it up. I offered to help and guided it into their net for a successful landing. I didn't want to interfere for fear of blowing it for them, but after watching about a dozen failed attempts I offered.  Team work!  :smt023 Saw a total of three landed off the pier and several PB reporting one fish. Wind was constant, but doable. First time I've stayed there through the afternoon. It started to calm down just as I had to go, but it was a nice day to be on the water. Don't have my camera cable with this computer so no pic evidence. Besides you've all seen plenty of pics of halis on the cleaning tabel right?....... :smt002 Heard reports of some stripers around too.

Nice job Dude! Way to put the time in and nice job on the pier assist. It's always good to maintain the shore vs  boat fisherman relationship! :smt001

The winds are always going to be there, just to what degree.... especially in the afternoon. They seem to come up like clockwork around 1pm out there. Once it makes it's mind up to come over the hill, it's there for the day. If i was off, I'd be there again today. I think any time you have a good tide, you have a good chance out there from now on.

I've seen you fish - it's not luck.
