Promar collapsable crab traps??????

Do I need to put some lead in my pot??? If so how much??? Would I only need to do that in a high current area? Or storm? Lookin for any tips or pointers from the pros...

i dont use weights and ive dropped them near the GG bridge and the current rips hard though there , did loose site of um though and learned you need more rope then u think

2X - No weight needed

I use 2.5 lb in my hoops. Don't know why really my dad always did. He said current will walk your traps out to sea. I think it depends on where you set them.
