Eric and Mother Nature put on a good show for us on Sunday. I will thank Eric but skip Mother Natures thanks for now. It was actually fun to just deal with the conditions as they were but those same conditions drove others away who I wanted to hang with during and after the event.

Hey Mooch, did that white truck have minnow buckets hanging off the pedal Hobie?
If you don't know where you're headed, any road could get you there.

First time at CL and not normally a bass fisherman
Dave I really enjoyed your report and had no problem with your etiquette the Basscar boys threw that right out the window when they started fishing the beds and running up the lake at 70 they change it to suit their needs as do a lotta big groups.

I knew Terry was going to show up, as I had met his girlfriend Sara at Fastop on Friday. Sorry I didn't get a chance to say hello to him and everyone else I didn't get to see. Saw Craig at the day use area but forgot to ask him if he drove the 175 pass in that snotty weather.

For lack of fish, here are my pictorial contributions. I did get to ride the yak on Saturday. Overcast with the wind picking up a bit in the afternoon. Saturday night was calm with brief drizzles of rain. I had sat at the campfire until about 11 pm. Boy, was I surprised to the stormy weather when I woke up in the morning.

Danglin, did you really punt the raccoon like a football?  :smt002

Not many people around when I first arrived on Friday. Then, after Jedmo's and Darius' families and friends showed up late Friday, it was pure bedlam. (Lucky for us), Darius' group set up their food stores at our site because his site was still being occupied by people who were at least 3 hours late in leaving.

Craig, I got NO sleep at all the night before  :smt011 I borrowed a "Tent Cot" from Fuzz...thinking it would be a better car camping tent cause it was really easy to set up and it was off the ground. Found out the morniing after that I'm not into it at all :smt013 I felt like I was sleeping inside a coffin :smt011

Never a dull moment when kids are present.

I'm still amazed at how close the water's edge was. As someone with physical limitations, that was Da Bomb, not having to pull the yak very far to water.

Darius was on the grill all day. Not only does he like to sing while he works, there was no shortage of vino.

We had three grills going, not counting the campsite grill.
