Great read fuzz. A buddy of mine had the same experience with a fur bag. He said the same thing, it nearly dislocated his shoulder. He thought the same thing, figured a shark had him. They can be pretty bold. Glad you weren't held under by him with your hand in the gills and all. I don't know about the cleaning ie. chumming in the water tho............
