I just bought a Hobie Outfitter and will put my Outback on sale for $1200.   If you're interested, please PM me sometime next week before I list it on Craigslist.  Below are a couple pictures of this yak.  The sail and sidekick options are not included as I want to use them on my Outfitter.

Sonny,
I hope you enjoy the outfitter.   Pedaling that beast is going to feel a lot different from the Outback unless you have a passenger sharing the work.  On the positive side, there's room to carry anything you want and it's really stable.  I kept my sail too.  I have only used it once on the Revo but plan to use it again soon.  The difference between the Outback and the Outfitter is probably not as significant as that between the Outfitter and the Revo. Enjoy the new ride!  How many clam tubes will fit on it????

I would've preferred to keep them both but money is tight so one of them has to go!  I pedaled and paddled the Outfitter on a lake and bay already and don't see much differences in speed and tracking compared to the Outback.  Got to love the cargo space on the Outfitter!  :smt007

I'm not sure, but it has the older type of rudder (not the twist & tow) so should be 2006 or older.  It's in great condition as I take good care of all my kayaks  :smt003  The prior owner bought it new for his daughter and she only used it twice before went to college.  It's been stored inside his garage and I was supprised when I came to pick it up since it look "brand new" as in the showroom!  He also has a beautiful Sit Inside Kayak that he won't sell it because he's still using it occasionally.
