Very nice! We were fishing on Monday out of Pittsburg and boated a shaker 44 inch sturgeon below grizzly bay. Released for another day. Congrats again on that hefty striper.

Yup - I thought that was a small cooler too.What a fish! Sure beats the snot out of the 21 incher I pulled out of Corte Madera creek today.

funny how many people just assumed that cooler was the standard Igloo 12 pack.. I did the same thing..

holy crap, that was a nice striper..I have been seeing so many 22 inchers I forgot what toads look like..how did that sunbitch cook up?

Haven't cooked it yet, but lemon and butter will be involved. Steaked it out instead of fillets.
