I wrote a long fishing report of me and FishinJay last night and when it was
time for me to post, our server was unavailable. :smt013 :smt013 So this will
be a short one. Gotta get ready for work.

When I met with FishinJay around 7am, there was tons of trailer parked at the launch already. I immediately thought it was a good sign knowing they
wouldn't be around if there wasn't any fish. I felt good about it that I told
Jay we were going to have a good chance and that I had a good feeling
about that day. We started to paddle to the fishing spot where Craig and
Sonny had suggested and sure enough, that is where most of the PB were.
We managed to find a spot to anchor right next to each other. Ten minutes
after we made our first cast, boater next to us caught a keeper sturgeon. I
turned around to Jay and said they're here, they're here. Sure enough, five
minutes later I had a little tap tap and I swung for the fences. My rod loaded
up right away and it was heavy. FISH ON!!! FISH ON!!! I said then the fight
begins. During that time I was OK until the fish decides to jump in front of us
and that is when my heart started racing in my chest. Just when I thought I
had it all under control, the fish managed to slip out of the snare and all I had
was my main line. Then my rod and reel goes overboard. I'm like crap, I am
going to lose the fish and my rod. Somehow I was able to crab hold of my
rod and regained control of the situation with some help with Jay. Thanks for
the assist bro. Once I had the fish in the stringer I was down quite a way
from Jay and my anchor. I paddled back to my anchor and 10 minutes later
while I was getting myself situated, I told Jay your next bro they are definitely around. Ten minutes after I had told him that, he was on. What a nice
fish it was also. Just a little smaller than what I had caught but she was a
beauty none the less. We paddled back in shortly after and had some
celebration drink. I gotta go I'm late for work! :smt011 :smt011 I'll include more
pictures of Jay when I get back home from work.
