Four of us hit the lake @10 am. two in a boat and another friend and myself in kayaks. Paddled for 4 or 5 hours with 8 lines trolling. I caught one small scrapper, everyone else caught zippo. I did real well the last 3 or 4 times out but not this time. Well so much for my big fish average. I saw shore anglers with near limits but they were also small fish. We still had fun though, and it was a nice day on the lake. I met Als Hobie from a distance while on the lake. Hi Al, I wanted to come over and meet you all in person, but I was too afraid to leave my yak and gear unattended. Especially after reading Mooches post about the slime ball kayak thief/thieves. I hope to fish with you soon.

Glad you had a fun day OTW.  Thank you for the report Brian.

B.A.,

How was the water clarity?  Is it still cloudy?

Sounds like you were trolling.  If so, what did you use?

Thanks for the update.

Probably be at Del Valle on Sunday (in a boat), but I like Chabot better and like to keep on how the lake is fishing.

Thanks,

Danman

Hey B.A.!  It was cool see you at Chabot!  I met up with Sara and her son to do a little shore fishing.  Not a nibble for us, but we didn't go at it very long.  There was a guy that landed a huge trout on a kastmaster just to the left of where we were fishing, but that was the only excitment for us that day.  Lots of pollen in the water or was that algie? Not a bad lake, need yer wheels to get to the shoreline, but the fee's are lower than the lakes close to home.  May give it a go sometime soon!
