Del Valle_05Mar10

Rented a boat with my fishing buddy and fished Del Valle yesterday from 0730 to 1600.  Very slow.  Maybe 5 bites between us all day.  Caught two average-sized trout up by the dam/Heron Bay area. Fish and bites on flashers with nightcrawlers.  Also tried Rampalas and Kastmasters (no dice).  Water cloudy around launch to olive drab at dam. 

Saw one guy with a 6-lb trout caught on PB (white) from shore just south of the launch.

Probably need to give it a week or two to clear and warm up a bit for the bite to improve.
