Hey funny.  I've got sculpey pics but I'm having problems sizing and posting them. 

Octopus is money in the bank for sure!  I love it when a ling pukes one up on the deck of my kayak.  I've learned to pin the pukey octopus pile on the whatever rig I can drop down the quickest.  Garanteed bigger ling almost everytime.  Like magic.

Yeah!  i think I'm gonna have to just buy baby octopus at my local asian store for rf bait.  I think it cheaper that swimbaits.

Just when I was happy with getting a day every now and again just to fish,

It's going to be a long 2 months 

Two months gives me about 5 weeks to recover from my upcoming shoulder surgery...I'll look at it as incentive to stick to my PT religiously.  (and yes, Mooch, us Hobie guys do need to use our paddles occasionally...not to mention lifting that pig of an Outback onto my truck is a major chore.)

     That octo- ling pukey thing happens all the time out in front of Santa Cruz.  I wonder how they manage to be barfing  up that much and still be in feeding mode.Sometimes two  biggies at a time.



    Ever try to put a live octo on a 7/0  hook? Like leather. I've tried a couple of times and given up because they're all over the place and have a poisonous bite. Fun to watch them find the scupper and disappear.

     
   

What about a octopus lure.  I've been thinking of doing that too.
