Anyone know where we can camp for the Beardsley event?  From what I read, Beardsley has 26 sites all first come first serve.  I dont think it is very likely I'd be able to get a site rolling in on a Saturday morning.  Pinecrest is all booked for the weekend.

Funny you should bring it up as I was thinking about the event this morning.

Ben, I'll be there Friday morning and will get you a site.  I'd say you can share ours but it'll be myself, a buddy, and my former boss.

If you could that would be great. I'd be happy to pay you back, and I might even make it up that night.  Former boss?  Did he retire?

Yeah, he retired.  But it's cool because he is now the point man on all of our fishing trips. :smt003

Hope to see you there Friday evening.

I can't wait, to bad it's almost 2 months away.  It'll be the next time my yak sees water. :smt010

It doesn't look like Ben will make it up early but I'll definitely still get you a spot Pat.

In all honesty, I don't exactly know where the campsites are.  I'll be up in that area in a couple weeks though and will stop by the ranger station to get a better idea.  Hopefully I find somebody competent.

Wanted to thank all those who participated in the 2010 Yakhopper Kayak Fishing Series. This has been a great series and the best is yet to come. The next and final event is scheduled for Sunday October 17th and should put us right in the middle of the Striped Bass run. Mark your Calenders and make your reservations as this is the event you wont want to miss.
Here is a look at some of what the grand prize winner will take home;
http://www.oceankayak.com/kayaks/angler_editions/prowler_trident_13_angler.html
It will include this;

Also this;

Of course we can't forget this;

And the list is still growing.
This is on top of what the top three anglers will win.

See Ya There,

is ti ok toit only ????  :smt005
each event you enter = you get a ticket into the raffle
1 event = 1 ticket / 4events = 4 tickets
If you haven't made it to an event this year there is still 1 chance to get into the drawing.
