I had a little time after work....and my brand new board.  It was blowing offshore at Big River with nice slightly overhead sets.  Three waves into the session and I take one on the head and break my brand new baby in half......argh!  That was an expensive go out.  Damn.

Big River bowls are HD. Major bummer on the busted stick. I've snapped a few over the years and it always hurts. Actually took Abman out surfing at Doran Beach on sunday where he proved to me that my 9ft long 3"+thick board was not going to be floating him up high & dry. Looked like me on a 6' long 2"potato chip. He caught waves on it though. jim
