Ive been on a mission to get a Napa river Dino,so I went out Wed  and today for  nada.It shure is full of  countless birds ,great sound back ground.I went upstream  + - 1 mile to the bouys and hung out with my little friends( ghost and mudd) but sturgys have Lockjaw.I saw 3 jumpers  on wed  and  2 today all within150 yds.I guss I missed by a week,Gabe.

I think Gabe is just toying with the sturgeon. He can catch them whenever he wants, he just doesn't want to deal with cleaning the fish. :smt005 :smt005

El Dorado, how often do you fish the Napa? Did you launch from cuttings warf?  I have been dying to get out there and fish, hopefully next time I go to visit my folks I can fit in some fishing time, or go fishing and try to fit in some time for my folks. Ha! Good luck and keep giving it hell!

Gabe, Although I am 0-2 on the Napa so far myself I have been told from a good local authority that grass shrimp works better there for some reason. jim

  Great job and thanks for the report.  Odd how they can be in the area and not grab a mouthful of shrimpy goodness when it is offered up so willingly!  I think dinos are going to break loose in the next few weeks!

Pand P sorry to get back @ you so late.I launched @ Cuttings wharf and Im not fishing  there  untill I hear theyre  on a tear  again,back to  Petaluma  River and China Camp for me,Gabe.
