I've been working up here in Coeur d'Alene for about a month now and today my boss came in and offered me the job permanently. This is exactly what Theresa and I were hoping would happen, so we're really pumped even though it is going to mean living in separate states for several more months.

But, before I start the job up here I am going back home to California for 6 weeks to close out my old job in Vallejo and get our stuff packed up. I am headed back to Vallejo late next week and before I leave California I intend to get in a few trips to Del Valle, and maybe to catch the *&^%@*^ sturgeon that has been eluding me for years! My report date back here in Coeur d'Alene is April 11, so I may try for a halibut before I head back up here to the land of 4-6 hour drives to the salt.

Looks like I need to dust off my NWKA account!

Absolutely! That is still one of my favorite places to fish. I hope to see you on NWKA this summer!

Good for you!  Sounds like a great place for somebody who loves the outdoors.  Maybe your first dino will be one of the 1000 pound Snake River monsters!  It will be great to have your reports from Idaho, and perhaps you can have us all up for a fish and chill and potato?

Idaho is such a great place!  I love the simple and conservative attitude there.  Great place for hunting and fishing, although the wolves are getting a little out of control.  I would move there in a heartbeat, but an stuck in California until I retire  :smt012  You are going to LOVE it.

Scott, you've always been unbelievably nice to me and my wife from the very first day we showed up as shiny new noobs. Please look us up in CDA when you make it to Idaho. We would love to see you.
