Santa Barbara Calicos & Sandbass

Nice catch and report jim! Heading down south to costa mesa/ newport beach myself next week to move my sisters stuff! Looking forward to get some fishing in myself and hopefully get into some bay bass or get lucky and catch a Seabass! Do u know if the seabass bite is picking up down there?

I haven't heard of any white seabass caught around here or at the Channel Islands lately.  But, there are not many people fishing them this time of year.  The bite usually starts around March or April.  I don't know about down south around Orange County or San Diego.  It's a different ball game down there.

 

As far as wsb depends on wear u go there our some other big fish being caught just need time otw.
