driving around with   KZSC 88.1 on the other day and heard this long jam....and thought of the guys on this site(big jim videos)  who put together different clips with music of their dives or their kayak fishing...and totally thought this would be killer jams for a fishing clip if I ever learn how to use my go pro and edit...like the 4 minute mark is the jams...but really it is just one long jam

We are what we pretend to be, so we must be careful about what we pretend to be.

I want to stay as close to the edge as I can without going over. Out on the edge you see all kinds of things you can't see from the center.

People aren’t supposed to look back. I’m certainly not going to do it anymore.”

Awesome thread, it's amazing the impact that music has on your mood.

This song always reminds me to slow down and just appreciate life:  The Green - "Alive"

This is my pre-surf / pre-launch jam:

a bunch of AK commercial fishermen put together this commercial salmon trolling centric hip hop. Some of the tracks are popular numbers re worked (covers/tributes), some original. I present AK Natural...You can hear the rest of their stuff at Soundcloud. If you like their stuff, hit them up on FB and ask them to get the album out.

The first 3 albums from KOL were awesome. I saw them 3 times at the Fillmore before they got huge.

I saw them at Bonnaroo in 2004 and 2007 before they were big.  I never really got into them though.  I have been listening to Sturgill Simpson, Chris Robinson Brotherhood, Anders Osbourne, Lukas Nelson and Promise of the Real, Wood Brothers...  I have yet to listen to the new album by the Word which is a super group consisting of Robert Randolph, John Medeski, and the members of North Mississippi Allstars.  The new one by Tom Petty is great, but I'm biased having seen Tom Petty since Wildflowers about 6 times.  Del McCoury Band is always good as is Bela Fleck, but I also love me some David Nelson Band  since I have seen them at least 20 times. I have a broad range of taste minus any of the pop crap and new pop country that litters the radio waves these days.
