Went fishing in my "back yard" this afternoon for Sturgeon since my next door neighbor told me he caught 2 (one under size and 1 legal) yesterday afternoon.  Fished the in coming tide and early part of out going but no love from Sturgie.  CPR 1 undersize Striper and that's it.  Nice day OTW but the current was strong today!  Here are some pictures of the day...

Glad you were able to take advantage of a nice weather yesterday Sonny. I
wonder if the water current where you were would be as strong at the fleet.
If not, I'd like to try it there sometime. Thanks for the report and picture.

It's a BIG tide yesterday plus the water there is deep (40ft deep) and my 10lb anchor with 100ft rope did the job.  The current there is about the same at the fleet but that's where my neighbor caught his Sturgeon and a 33" Striper last Tuesday.
