if anyone wants to piggyback on mine and can get their trough from me in the city or at melones on the 20th let me know and i'll add it to my order.

I'll take you up on that Ben.  You say I can pick-up at Melones but can I pay there too?

he means that the increments are not marked clearly so when you take a picture they do not show up well. what most of us do is take a black marker to them so you can see the lines and numbers better.
I see the dash lines are not screen printed.... got  it, there stamped only..

thx! Look forward to getting one, the rusty steel tape measure sucks

They need to learn to print the inch increments by default.  They are 0 for 3 (GWKC, NWKA and now Hook1) on custom hawg troughs that have all been printed without the inch increments printed as well.

Brian

 You mean to tell me custom troughs don't come with inch increments! oh you mean bought custom troughs.

Great work  :thumright:

That looks real cool - Maybe you could do something like that for the particapents in the AOTY?  :smt007

I believe the second batch of GWKC hawg troughs had printed increments. The first batch every one has printed seems to come with unprinted.  I just wish that after they offered "hey do you want the increments printed?"

That looks great Ben, did you just use a permanent marker? Does it usually last a while, or do you have to touch it up after a few trips?

marker lasts a while, it will fade over time but you can still see the marks pretty well.  will touch it up only if needed. the one i got with last year's AOTY entry is still goin strong.

Cool Yellow one. An easy way to make it more rigid, extend it, and make it float is to glue a wooden yardstick to it. My yard stick faded over time so I glued another one on top of the first...

tried to make it permanent but for some reason the glue wouldn't stick?  right now its just duct taped onto it but i think it might fall off.
