Did you track down your friend?  :smt003  Sorry I missed the party.  I'm still in Dallas, Texas right now.  Should be back later this week.  Thanks for the report and picture Mooch.

.......more fish porn at the Hatchery (I could have spent the entire day watching these beautifull creatures swim stream side  :smt007)

*most of the steelhead we saw spawning by the stream were at the 8-10 pound range but seeing the sturgeon swimming below the bridge on the big pond was an eye opener (camera battery died - no pics  :smt013 )

Want to thank Eric B. for his efforts on making this weekend happen. And I'm thankful to those who made the trip despite the weather conditions (Welcome to the Storm Trooper experience). Many thanks to groovey good bye gifts that I got from my brows = you know who you are  :smt008 Never a dull moment with da weekend crew. Like Juan had mentioned, there were too many "moments" that will always be remembered   :smt044 ...all of which I will treasure and happily think back to when I leave for Alaska. You guys are making my trip away a lot harder than it already is  :smt089 I can't thank you all enough for the memories  :smt045

Mooch,
Sorry I couldn't make it. Scheduled to work all weekend... Thought about you guys up there. Sure wish I was up there too.  I asked Patrick to pass along a hello for me. Hope ya got it. Those bald eagles are going to become hohum to ya up there in Alaska. They call em "Alaskan Seagulls" up there. Hang out at the fish cleaning stations "moochin" scraps... :smt002 Good luck up there. I'm sure you'll be checking in from time to time. Going to the land of "catchin'" instead of fishin'....We'll miss ya. Yer gonna get spoiled... :smt002
Ben,
enjoy that Lion's mane. they are alot like tofu. You can do pretty much anything with them and they take on the flavors you add. They have a real firm texture, a lot like chicken. One of my favs. This has been a hell of a year for all shrooms. Nice to see there are still some nice lion's manes around.
Mike,
love that pic of the steelie along the rock. Classic! Looks like the lake is all filled back up to recreational level  :smt023 I'm sure Mendo is filling fast too.  :smt038

That was quite a kitty there also. The runoff sure gets them fired up for sure.
Looks like another great hook up. And a desearving send off.

Looks like another great NCKA hook-up.

I was itchin' to get up there, but have been home battling bronchitis for the past week.

Hopefully I can catch a future tour date. CL sounds great, as I've never fished it and it would hopefully offer up a chance to kick it with Mooch and Da Spidey!!

In Loving Memory of Mooch, Eelmaster, Shicken, and Cabeza De Martillo

I started kayak fishing to get away from most of you...

:smt010  Mooch, I hope you realize the ONLY thing that would have (And untimely did) kept me from going to this bash was that ugly four letter work everybody has to do (work) Lousy timing on my former employee part for calling when they did.
Beyond getting work, I would have gone and brought my skirt steaks!  Thanks to all of you for posting pictures, (Truly hate you all now for making me suffer even more from Oregon)  After looking at those "On the water" shots, I can close my eyes and just imagine me sitting on my OB (Getting skunked again) getting soaked, rocking gently while trolling, listening to radio chatter of someone hooking up, or thinking what lure to use now?  :smt010 :smt044

Oh BTW Ben that damn thing looks like a fuzzy dog chew toy!

Well, I'm sorry I had to miss it.   :smt013 GD job!  (It couldn't have waited 1 month more?) Oh well, mortgage & bills cable & internet will remain on now. (Important things)

Mooch your presence will be missed at future Future fish & chills, but then, we'll have someone to blame when the bites off, or the weather turns, basically anything!  I suspect blame will be placed on you ! :smt044

I'm glad to have met you, and feel privileged to have shared water with you!

Take care buddy!

I forgot a black folding camp-chair in Andy's camp. Anyone know its' whereabouts?
It's got arms and one mesh beverage holder.
If you don't know where you're headed, any road could get you there.

Andy, that's probably my chair. It's not the first one I've left behind this year. If I get it back next time I see you, good. If not, don't worry about it.
My trench coat is safely tucked away in my truck. :smt003

Didn't Ben give Mooch that blue raincoat? If so maybe Mooch forgot to bring it with him.
I wouldn't go so far as to call a lingcod filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a lingcod's got personality. Personality goes a long way.
