Chef-if you go launch at the north launch off of HWY 20 paddle due south.  On the east side of the lake you will see a point with rip-rap and a metal culvert.  fish were off of that point and around the corner of the point.  Go just fast enough to stay near the bottom, but off of the bottm.  Good luck.
