Eric are you having some sort of name tags available? Would be helpful for the pot luck at least.

I was supposed to ride up with Fishdit but it looks like he won't be making it.
If anyone needs to share a site - let me know tonight as I will be rolling out around 5am.
See you all there,
Eric

Dang! I have to pull out of this wonderful event. My 97-year-old Dad went into the hospital yesterday and I have to help him make a transition when he is released.

Team Free Agent better win without me! Good luck to all and be safe.

Andy

Very sorry to hear that, Andy - I hope your Dad has a good recovery, and you're doing the right thing to help him out.  I'll send your shirt and other tournament packet items.

Just checked in to the OceanFront Inn.  Not much wind.  Definitely mixed swells hitting the shoreline.  Not too bad though.  I did see two yaks out by the bouy...they seemed to be bobbing quite a bit.

Did see a number of CHP on the way up. Mostly on the opposite side.  The are really sneaky, hiding behind trees so they are impossible to see until you pass them.

As mentioned before, anyone coming here for the first time...take that last 12 mile descent SLOWLY.

Look forward to seeing everyone soon.  I see a few yakkers setting up their camps across the grass.

I'm practically packed, just finished a hot tub with my 6 year old who couldn't sleep - that should zap him!   :smt003  And I'm pretty damn content to know that we're on the home stretch.  Be safe, Everybody.  Let's get there, do this, and make it an outstanding event.   :smt001
