I never would have guessed goop would hold bungees in place over time!

Thanks...  I'm doing this.

Also maybe a bungee attached to the  underside of hatch itself...  for sandwiches.

A very nice simple solution to a common problem.  Please let us know how the glue holds up.

I like it! I've kept my pump on the deck bungees behind the tank well. It can be a beeotch to get to in a jiffy with a bunch of junk in the tank well, not to mention getting past the seat. Seems a lot easier to move forward. Looks good!

I tried this setup on my P-15 and it worked beautiful for securing my extra paddle and padded side ice chest.  However one deck loop did let go after two trips so I re-gooped it.  I roughed up all of the plastic deck loops and the inner hatch surfaces with a die grinder before gluing.  I hope the one that let go was just a freak thing, because this idea works well when they are attached.----Jeff

Wow, an ice chest?. Cool. I havn't had a failure yet. An alcohol wipe helps eliminate oils and increase adhesion.
