I'm thinking late in January, look for a lot of moon and calm ocean, dusk departure, Capitola to Santa Cruz Wharf, a burger and beer at Ideal Grill around 7:00, then back to Capitola. One way trip if you want to wrangle a car shuttle, out and back for a bit more time on the water. Should be less than 90 minutes each way. Boats on the beach should be close at hand for security. Buddy system, VHF, headlamps, and emergency flares for safety.

Let me know if that appeals to you. Stand up paddlers welcome. I'll try to target a few days, but weather must cooperate to confirm.

Who's game?
Always willing to join others in the Monterey/Santa Cruz/Half Moon Bay area for a bit of fishing...feel free to contact me.

I'd be down!!!

I've never even done the paddle all the way from Cap to SC (let alone there and back), so I might just go for the one way trip...

Let me know what date you all pick and I will do my best to make it!!

Sincerely,

Jim
