Happy Holidays! Sorry for another non yak post but I like to share. Got out on Sat the 26'th and was slow trolling flashers and live minnows in <30fow when this 32" 10 pound 8oz Mackinaw hit! It put up a great fight peeling line every time I got it near the boat! Glad the 6# leader held against it's super sharp teeth. Good luck, Eric :smt001

Congrat on the great catch!  It's a hog!  Thanks for the report and pictures Eric.

Nice fish! Keep posting-yak or non yak, with quality the fish you post, we dont care! I still love that rainbow you posted, wow what a fish, It would have made a great fish-print on rice paper.

Nice one.   :smt001
I know, I know :smt003 I was supposed to be fishing with my buddy but he was a no show. It was 16 degrees when I woke up before 5, so I went back to bed until 7:30 :smt002 Spent the morning with my family and mother in law, then headed up to the lake around 10. Hung bottom with the same rig that caught the fish, got all my gear back and let'em back out. I was fix'n a pipe when the outside rod starts thump'n heavily!!! Watching it run 30 feet down through Tahoe's ultra clear water was the SHIP :smt004 On that rod I have 10# Vanish from the reel to 20# braid with 100' of 10# Vanish as a main leader then from my flashers to the minnow 6# Vanish. I do catch nice fish from the yak as well, with 2 over 10 and my PB this 35.5" 11.5# Lake Tahoe Mackinaw! Thanks again for take'n it easy on me :smt003 Good luck, Eric :smt001
