Pulled the Mini up river a little over a mile to a big rock garden and fished my way back. Water too low,too slow and too clear.
Had 1 pretty good pulldown on a plug and a few hardheads and suckers on bait. There are a few fish in the system the seals are killing them in the lower river and me and Kayak dog have been walking the river and have seen a few. They are moving through in spurts of just a few fish at a time. If you go I would fish below DC where the water is 400cfs and only 250cfs at Healdsburg.

Way to get OTW and report back.  We definitely need a blowout storm...

Took a walk yesterday below DC and didn't see a single person unbeliveable for this time of year.

1 DC just above the RR
2 River shot looking upstream just below DC is coming out right by that tree. That whole gravel bar should be under water. You can just see the 101 upstream.
3 Retirement hole deserted I saw 2 fish in this shot but you can't see them in the pic just past the sandy bottom guess I need a polarizing filter.
4 What kind ?

Thanks Mike,

I may go beat the bank down lower tomorrow.  I'll post up a non-yak if I do.  I also heard from several others that the mouth was dozed yesterday and a slug of fish swam in.  Finally good rain coming tomorrow afternoon it looks like, not enough really, but we need all we can get.

I heard the same thing but don't you think that those fish are going to be sitting ducks to the seals. Maybe it would be better if they just let it blow out naturally. I was at Willow Crk today and there are lotta seals all up and down that section.

Mike I don't know what kinda shrooms those are, but I do know they are NOT any of the kind I look for. It's been great lately tho I've heard. I haven't been out for a while, so I'm missing out. From now on anytime on the RR has a chance to produce sum chrome....

The mushrooms look like an inky cap variety.  Def. nothing I'd think about eating.
