At least we will get to fish alot of the area just north of Stump Beach. Some of us went further than the point at Fisk Mill last year. Now we will get about half way to the point. Oh well. What are you going to do?  I sure did enjoy it there while it lasted. I tried to upload a pic from google maps but didnt have much success.

Thats beautiful Sonny! It shows just exactly what I wanted. To see how much we can fish there when we do the Stump Beach Hill Climb next year. Date to be announced. Thanks again Sonny. BTW I am glad you were ok after your splash. :smt006

I was lucky enough to get into Horseshoe Cove on 3 beautiful days this year with my son, a good way to say goodbye, doubt I'll ever go back,

There's some great structure in shallow water just south of the boundry,

Of course then there's always Shell Beach up in SR.  :smt004

The link above is not working!  Got below message:

Why did they have to put the boundary there instead of some easily recognizable feature such as, oh ... the point to the North of Fisk Mill.   :smt013

Thats exactly what I thought Allen. While I didnt know just where it was until now I assumed it would be a point or and easily indetifiable landmark. It might be the lookout platform. I cant tell from the goggle photo though. That link was working earlier.

In the final days of RSG meetings that was the most hotly debated line in the room. 2XA didn't have a closure in that area, proposal 4 had either that one or was it worse, I can't remember, then proposal 1-3 had moved the boundry up to Horseshoe Pt and left Salt Point alone,

Then the BRFT got ahold of it and gave the Max Closure side a gem for their Crown.

At least that's the way I remember it, in any case it was granted to the Max Closure side by the BRTF thru the IPA.  I'd heard it said the the RLFF had to get something for their money and the Stewart's Point closure was it, at least in the NCC.

WON had a good editorial about the conflicts of interest in the SC this week, out in plain sight and still operating with impunity,,,,,,,
