I am, unfortunately, out. :smt010   There is no way the wife will let me travel that far with her just having delivered along with our 2 and half year old. :smt009   Terribly upset I won't be able to join in the debauchery but definitely look forward to the report.

Maybe we can arrange a day thing at DV as it is a much shorter trip for me.

Fishin-J, I'm not happy about your decision  :smt011

Yep, I'm not happy about it either. I have to fly to Washington DC at 0430 Sunday morning and I can't get Friday off. I'm bummed...

I do like dilbeck's idea of doing day thing at DV sometime. That would be a nice addition for those of us that can't make it to Sonoma.
Mooch: If you're up for it you can PM me if there is a day that you would like to have a hookup at DV and I'll post it/plan it.

Sweet, I'll go ahead and reserve the campground.

Pat, if Andy isn't there with his grill I'm gonna just cancel the whole deal... :smt002

But I'm really hoping for a response from Mooch's BESTEST friend of all time...  even tho he hates boat-in cold camping...  maybe the rain will mask the tears...

:cold  Mooch?, Eric? if you guys are refering to me, here's my stance.
I'll be there if it's not gonna rain, i will pay the $$ and show.
:protest: I'm still having serious mental difficulties  :angryfire: with this Alaska deal, but if i gotta expose myself to such harsh conditions,

Regarding $$$....

It's only something like $100, (less, I think) for two nights at the group camp.

No need for anyone to pay up front, or anything at all, really...  if anyone feels compelled to kick me down a five or ten at the event I'll gladly accept, but no big deal either way.

And if it's raining we can get a car camp instead.

I plan to get there early Friday, (Noon, latest).

I think I can make it.   Jeez this sounds like work.  Probably 35 degrees at night. Where is the nearest Motel 6?

Is there any fishing we can do there this time of year?
