TheCrw's Perch Grubbin Send-Off at Ocean Beach

Hobi-Wan Kenobi aka TheCrw aka Elric  is heading off to Las Vegas to start a new business. There's not much fishing in the desert, so he's inviting ol friends and new ones for a lil get together at Ocean Beach for a Perch Grubbin send off! Bring your MORF's and sand crab sifters for a chance at monster BSP's. Don't forget your waders.

Here's the tide for Sat Nov 12th, 2005

     Low 1:42 AM 0.7          6:47 AM Set 3:03 AM 80
12 High 8:33 AM 6.1          5:01 PM Rise 3:10 PM
12 Low 2:46 PM 0.6
12 High 9:05 PM 4.9

High tide is at 8:33AM.
A High tide combined w/ early morning start is when these lil buggers come in and feed. We'll probably meet at the Sloat Parking Lot around 6:00am and on the beach at 6:30am (2 hrs before the high tide).
Any other intel or knowledge of perch holes would greatly be appreciated.
~Elric

my wife saw your craigslist add for boxes and said "elric's moving?!?"  Too bad we sold our moving boxes a couple months back.
The legend lives on from the Chippewa on down
Of the big lake they call Gitche Gumee
Superior, they said, never gives up her dead
When the gales of November come early.

'll be out of town otherwise I'd go. It sounds like fun and the perching should be good after this weather. Anyone interested should go.

Elric, when are you moving to Vegas?

I want to thank you for being a pioneer and setting up the first NorCal Kayak Fisher's forum through Yahoo! Groups. It's where most of us old-timers like Erik, Promethean, Stu, Joel, SteveS, Bill, and I first met. Your forum was an important catalyst for this website.

THANKS AGAIN.....  BEST WISHES TO YOU & YOUR FAMILY !!!  :worship

I think Chef was trying to say that the stripper fishing in Vegas is legendary.  Carolina rig small bills and give it a twitch every few seconds and watch your rod tip... :groupwave

Seriously have fun and good luck, what kind of biz are you starting?

I haven't fished with you for a while so hi and good luck in Vegas.... The swell should be crankin' by sat morning. Its coming down the coast solid as I write (fri night). I'm surfing on Saturday but I might stop by to say hi.
Take care. Yeah, and props for starting the first site!
