oakland airport 12-06-09 update

So Dave AKA "relentless" and I hit the airport at 8am sharp and paddle out to my secret hole
and just got are ass whooped all day with lots of wind and chop, at times it got really bad but the sun did come out
sometimes and made things a little better.

As for the Dino he came at the last part of the day. I had just told Dave that we would call it a day at 230pm
this was at 145pm when I told him, and 10 min later I got the tap tap tap but I could not tell if it was the bumpy
ride or a sturgeon, so when in doubt swing for the fence and bam fish on  

But when the fight was on I was getting the pump like it was a batray so when I got it to the yak I could see that it was a fat sturgeon but he was wrapped up in the main line so with a little maneuvering I got him unwrapped and he took a big run
and one more after that. so by then he was done so I scooped him up onto the yak and tied him down and let out a big yahoo

as for Dave he blanked but still went home with some nice steaks  


So as soon as this rain stops you get out there because the sturgeon will hitting big time

Way to stick it out and bring home the goods Duane. No chance of me making it as I couldn't really run away from my nieces and nephew watch 'til about noon. I stopped by there to say hi about 4, but you guys had already burned rubber on that place; just then, a downpour of rain begun.
