A distress call came in to MFN world headquarters. Apparently there were a whole heap of filthy dirty arthropods crawling around in the subtidal zone of a picturesque Bay Area beach. This could be devastating to the already hard hit tourist industry, so we answered the call of duty.
The mission: Assemble operatives of the BKM (Boer Kayak Mafia) and Commander in Chief of MFN Intertidal Forces to do a sweep and clean mission, rounding up the aforementioned filthy bugs and give them a nice relaxing hot water bath.
Arriving at the tourist destination, a hop skip and a jump from the Golden Gate, We were greeted with a menicing blustery cold wind from the South East. Dam this takes dedication. A quick recon of the field of operation revealed a nasty head high shore break. The type of conditions that may be fun if you were going for a paddle with no gear, but on a tandem, loaded with 6 collapsible Promar T102 pots, this was gonna be tricky. My surf skills were put to use as I was nominated Launch Master. I walked to the far end of the beach near some rocks and pointed out a rip and associated deep water hole that was taking the punch outta the surf at this locale. Giving the tide another hour and good timing I made the call that this would be the launch point for the operation.
The arsenal was crammed with a hot load of Hali carcass wrapped in chicken wire and plastic jars stuffed with squid and dines. We needed to get this thing done. In and out with a load of High Value Prisoners to be Hot Water Boarded at an undisclosed location in the Oakland Hills.
Good timing made for an easy launch and it was a mere 150 meter paddle to the ambush point. Having done this operation before we knew there was a definite sweet spot in a tiny area. The secretive nature of the mission dictated no GPS was to be used. We had report that Arthropod Central Command was deploying GPS Jammers that would give false readings on our sets, so armed with only our wits we used landmark triangulation and dropped all the pots in a 20 meter by 20 meter area and immediately headed back to the beach. Here we waited an agonizing hour and 15 mins. The other operatives insisted we wait longer but I insisted we pull em, confident the mission would be a success. I was right. Quick limits for all involved. Here are some recently declassified recon images

Aaah Commander GZ of the Artiste Revolutanary Army. Your battle expierence is sorley missed on these search and destroy missions. Im sure more Arthropodic Intel will need to be gatherd by the end of the week. I will confirm operations detail on a (sure to be tapped by the feds) not so secure cellphonic device. I still have your Top Secret call codes buried in my database.

Launch Master, now this is my kind of report. Congrats.
BTW, a guided missile frigate was in the area recently and bombed that Arthropod Central command.
You are now free to use your gps.

Good job. Thanks for showing how it should be done.
